منتج محلي بديلا لنظيره المستورد ويعتبر نقلة لإنتاج مادة الهيدروكسي اباتيت (من مخلفات بيولوجية) والمنتجات الاخرى القائمة عليها من النطاق المعملي الى النطاق الصناعي. علاوة على البعد الاقتصادي فان لهذا المشروع بعدا بيئيا هاما حيث تكون المنتجات المراد تصنيعها أكثر توافقًا حيويًا وفعالية بيولوجيًة وأقل تكلفة وصديقة للبيئة. هناك حاجة متزايدة في السوق الطبية لتطوير مواد بديلة تُحاكي العظام الطبيعية قابلة للتحلل الطبيعى مع مرور الوقت لتتكوين عظام طبيعية مكانها بصورة امنة تجنب المريض خوض عملية جراحية أخرى. وهي بذلك تحل محل كل من العظام الاصطناعية وطعوم العظام التقليدية، وذلك للتغلب على محدوديتها وتجنب المضاعفات الناجمة عن رفض الجسم لها.

As a local product, it serves as an alternative to its imported counterpart, representing a shift in the production of hydroxyapatite (from biological waste) and other products based on it from the laboratory to the industrial scale. In addition to the economic dimension, this project has a significant environmental dimension, as the products to be manufactured are more biocompatible, bioeffective, less expensive, and environmentally friendly. There is a growing need in the medical market for the development of alternative materials that mimic natural bone and are naturally degradable over time to safely form natural bone, sparing the patient the need for more than one surgery. The present product replaces both artificial bones and traditional bone grafts, overcoming their limitations and avoiding complications resulting from body rejection.
