Curcuminoids are produced from the roots of the turmeric plant to obtain the largest possible quantity and highest degree of purity. Curcuminoids have numerous biological properties, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-osteoarthritis, anti-hyperlipidemia, and anti-diabetic properties. They also support digestion, gut health, cognitive function, and memory. The product is used as a nutritional supplement and contains three active compounds: curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, and bisdemethoxycurcumin.
