لقاح لفيروسات الروتا يتناسب مع السلالات الموجودة في المجتمع المصري وقد تمت تجربته in vitro علي الخلايا الحيةو in vivo علي حيوانات التجارب guinea pigs واثبت اللقاح كفاءة عالية اعلي من اللقاحات الموجودة بالسوق المصري والتي تستورد من الخارج من اكثر من ناحية كالتالي: 1-Antibody titres في حيوانات التجارب 2-منع العرض المرضي في حيوانات التجارب 3-Histopathological studies نجاح هذا اللقاح والذي نمتلك كل تفاصيل طريقة انتاجه يجعل انتاجه اقل سعرا واكثر كفاءة من اللقاحات المستوردة (Rotarix and Rotateq) مما يجعله متاحا لاطفال مصر في برنامج التطعيم الاجباري للاطفال ويتبقي التجارب السريرية علي الانسان (الاطفال) والتي نحتاج فيها الي التعاون مع القطاع الطبي.

Recombinant subunit vaccine for human rotaviruses suitable for rotavirus circulating strains in Egyptian community. This vaccine has higher efficiency than the commercial vaccines which usually imported to the Egyptian market (Rotarix and Rotateq) The experiments for evaluation the efficiency of this vaccine were performed in vitro and in vivo using guinea pigs (comparison with the efficiency of commercial vaccines was performed also in guinea pigs) The efficiency of the new vaccine was higher based on three criteria: -Antibody titres in lab. animals -Prevention of symptoms in lab. animals -Histopathological studies Now, this vaccine needs to be tested in human (children) and we need cooperation with physicians -Application of this vaccine which we have its details and know how may offer low price production for Egyptian community and make the vaccine available for Egyptian children in the mandatory vaccination program
